THE ONLY WAY TO REMOVE BACKWARDNESS OF MUSLIMS IS RESERVATION

New DELHI: Samajwadi Party is the only political party which has taken up the matter of reservation for Muslims clearly. Should the party come in power it will implement the suggestions of Sacchar Committee and Misra Commission. The former Chairman of Minority Commission, Kamal Farooqui, who recently joined Samajwadi Party observed like this. During a press conference he said that government did not give anything to Muslims except false promises. He said that he decided to join the Samajwadi Party because Mulayam Singh Yadav has taken up the reservation issue for Muslims and he has not only spoken about it but also has included in his election manifesto. This party accepts that backwardness of Muslims cannot be removed without reservation. He said that 90 districts have been declared as minority districts in the country out of which 21 are in UP and Samajwadi Party will work for the Muslims in these districts, and also establish schools under the law of Right to Education.

Samajwadi Party will fight against distribution of Waqf Board's property

Lucknow, Apr 23 : Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav today said his party will fight against the central government's conspiracy to distribute the Waqf Board's land among other communities.

The union cabinet has recently decided to distribute the income from Waqf properties to non-Muslims and Muslims in the ratio of 76:24, Mr Yadav said talking to mediapersons here.
The SP will oppose this move and rake the matter in the Parliament, he added.
If needed, the party will take to streets to protest,'' the SP leader said.Claiming it to be a sensitive issue that can cause law and order problem, Mr Yadav said, I made all efforts to protest the land of Waqf Board and even got constructed the boundary walls.A large number of Muslims rely on the income of the Waqf Board, he said adding, the decision will mar their living very much.It is a sensitive issue and can even lead to law and order problem, if tackled lightly,Mr Yadav stated.
Mentioning the Maharajganj incident, the SP chief said violence had already hit the district over Waqf land and resulted into the life of a constable The SP will launch a campaign against the Congress, if it does not withdraws its decision.

लखनऊ (एसएनबी)। आगरा के राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन में समाजवादी पार्टी में शामिल हुए आल इंडिया मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ बोर्ड के सदस्य कमाल फारुखी ने कहा है कि सपा ही ऐसी पार्टी है जहां मुस्लिम व अल्पसंख्यक समाज को पूरा सम्मान मिलता है। उन्होंने कहा कि सपा की नीतियों से प्रभावित होकर उन्होंने इसकी सदस्यता ग्रहण की है। प्रेस क्लब में पत्रकारों से रुबरू होते हुए श्री फारुखी ने कहा कि चूंकि समाजवादी पार्टी में ही मुस्लिम व अल्पसंख्यक समुदाय से जुड़े मुद्दों को उठाने का मौका मिलेगा इसलिए उन्होंने इस दल में शामिल होने का फैसला लिया। सपा मुखिया मुलायम सिंह यादव की सेकुलर सोच और मुस्लिम व अल्पसंख्यक समाज के प्रति आरक्षण के फैसले के मद्देनजर उक्त समुदाय आने वाले समाज में पार्टी के प्रत्याशियों को भारी मतों से विजयी बनाने में प्रयासरत है। विभिन्न संस्थाओं से जुड़े श्री फारुखी ने कांग्रेस पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि वह वादे तो करती है पर इस पर खरी नहीं उतरती। सच्चर कमेटी, रंगनाथ कमीशन व जेपीसी रिपोर्ट को लागू न करा पाना कांग्रेस की असमर्थता को दर्शाता है। गैर राजनीतिक मुस्लिम पर्सनल लॉ बोर्ड के सदस्य रहते हुए वह समाजवादी पार्टी में शामिल हुए हैं इस प्रश्न का जवाब देते हुए श्री फारुखी ने कहाकि बोर्ड के कई सदस्य विभिन्न राजनीतिक दलों से जुड़े हुए हैं ऐसे में किसी का एतराज करना सही नहीं होगा। राज्य की बसपा सरकार को आड़े हाथों लेते हुए श्री फारुखी ने कहा कि उत्तर प्रदेश में कानून व्यवस्था की स्थिति चरमरा गयी है। मुस्लिम समाज को न्याय नहीं मिल रहा है, शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में वह लगातार पिछड़ता जा रहा है। विकास के नाम पर पिछले वर्षो में शून्य ही रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि समाजवादी पार्टी में रहते हुए वह मुस्लिम समाज के हक और सम्मान की लड़ाई लडेंगे और उसे उसका खोया सम्मान वापस दिलाएंगे। पत्रकार वार्ता में उत्तर विधानसभा क्षेत्र से सपा प्रत्याशी मो. यामीन खां व नगर निगम में सपा पाषर्द दल के नेता सैयद यावर हुसैन ‘रेशू’ मुख्य रूप से मौजूद थे।
